Four-vehicle crash near Perham leads to non-life-threatening injuries
A four-vehicle crash in Otter Tail County sent two people to the hospital Friday evening.
At 5:26 p.m., a 2013 GMC Sierra driven by Barbara Joanne Olson, 67, of Frazee, Minnesota, was southbound on County Road 60 when she attempted to cross U.S. Highway 10 about 5 miles northwest of Perham, according to a news release from the Minnesota State Patrol. A 2012 Toyota RAV4 driven by Michael Todd Dean, 57, of Gackle, North Dakota, was westbound on Highway 10 when it hit Olson’s vehicle, the release said.
The GMC spun and struck a 2014 Subaru Outback driven by Mark Stephen Klegin, 58, of Frazee on County Road 60. A 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Amber Marie Guntermann, 26, of Detroit Lakes., then struck the Toyota in the eastbound lane of Highway 10.
Olson, Dean and Klegin were uninjured. There were no passengers in their vehicles. Guntermann and her passenger, 3-year-old William Clarence Guntermann of Detroit Lakes, were sent to Perham Health for non-life-threatening injuries.
Alcohol was not involved in the crash and everyone was wearing their seat belts.
Perham is about 20 miles southeast of Detroit Lakes. (FNS)
